I am an experienced and dedicated human resources and business operations consultant. I have spent the last 15 years of my career working with companies from a range of sectors and industries, including hospitality, staffing, and IT, helping them customize and operationalize critical business and HR systems. I have navigated the full scope of HR and employee relations issues, including neutralizing toxic work environments, building strong work cultures, and cultivating high-performing teams through talent acquisition, employee training, and management. My clients rely on me as a trusted business and HR partner. Drawing from my deep belief in building workplace humanity through emotional intelligence and empathy, I am known for listening closely to and collaborating alongside business owners, managers, and employees to establish solutions that are not only robust and compliant but curated to their unique business and HR needs.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Ithaca College and am a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP).
As a trusted Human Resources business partner, I support businesses with daily HR functions. From recruiting and onboarding to managing personnel issues to enforcing company policies, I help ensure best practices are executed consistently and with compliance. I can also help execute key aspects, including standardizing new hire paperwork, generating and maintaining employee handbooks, and supporting back-office HR technologies all while ensuring HR-related compliance.
The important task of documenting key business processes can often go overlooked. I work one-on-one with small businesses to identify their goals and design tools that work within the specific organizational framework. I confer with leadership to establish, streamline, and implement standard operating procedures so they can focus on the company and their people.
I then help secure the buy-in necessary to ensure these processes are successfully adopted and embedded in the work culture – from top to bottom.
